i have a older brother who is 40 and he has a son that's 18. today a group of kids around my nephew's age more or less, 15 to 18, were harrassing him. over exactly what i'm not sure. my brother happen to see it. and asked the kids to layoff his son
but then the main kid starting talking shit and saying he would fuck him up too and then stated he would or has fucked his wife as well, while she was there. so she called the police and the kids left. the police came and setup a meeting with the kid, his parents, my nephew, my brother and his wife. the meeting was set for tomorrow. but then a group of kids, about 14 of them, showed up at my house about an hour and a half ago calling my nephew's name. but my nephew was not home but my brother was. now the kids weren't the tough type. they were all a bunch nerds..really. only the instigator looked the tough type, kinda stocky but still young maybe only 16. well again they all began threatening him and his wife. of coarse my brother had to say something back. my sister-in-law again called the police. but the kids would not leave and things were already getting heated by the time i went outside. how could i leave my brother out there alone. they were only kids but they could still give a beatdown if they all jumped him. i was angry and i did curse out the main kid telling him to fucking leave and if he really wanted to do something to come up to the house insteady of slowly leaving like they were. not my best moment but they were finally leaving and i calmed down. but then they came back with a bat and my brother lost it and ran towards them. he was wrong just as much as the kid. i yelled to my brother to stop. then they jumped him, about 5 kids. he was on the ground and they were hitting him and one of the kids was hitting him with the bat. as soon as i saw him getting jumped i ran towards them. i had to he's my brother. but my brother somehow was holding his own, most of the kids were pretty weak looking. and the kids scattered once i got there or once he started getting up. my brother got a hold of the main kid and was beating him down. i tried to separate them. i was trying to pull the kid off, it wasn't working so i got in the middle, my brother hit me by mistake, i pushed him off and then my brother grabbed the bat that he was beaten with but he dropped it when i pushed him. unfortunately the police arrived just when he grabbed the bat. the kid was leaving so the cop thought it was me and brother that were fighting and tried to tackle me and my brother in doing so my brother fell and hit his head on the road. i have his blood on my shirt. all the neighbors quickly yelled to the cop "wrong guy" and "it was the kid who started this" and they arrested him but they also arrested my brother because they saw him with the bat. they also stated that he was adult and they were minors. he should have known better. so if a bunch of kids are jumping you..you can't fight back just cause there kids? though he was wrong for grabbing the bat even though he was beaten with the bat as well. 2 wrongs don't make a right. i don't think he was wrong for fighting back, he was getting jumped. but the bat was wrong both ways. and he should not have gone towards them when they came back with the bat. it gets better my nephew came home and saw his father on the floor bleeding and ran towards him. he didn't know the police were trying to control the crime scene and wanted people to stay away. well 5 cops tackled him and arrested him. we told them he didn't know what was going on, he just saw his father hurt and was upset and was trying to see what was going on. they said he was stupid, they really said that, he should have known about entering a controlled crime scene, and they took him away. so how would you handle this situation from here? i have a feeling these kids will be back. it takes alot of balls to try to pick on a kid's father and mother. to keep coming to someone's home to pick a fight. i have another nephew that's 10, will they attack him. will they keep coming back? the fact that we already called the police on him and he still came back for more really worries me. so will him being arrested really stop him? will the kid's father go after my brother? will they show up with more kids? |

get a lawyer and sue the pigs, sue the kids families, and have your nieghbors say, your brother never touched the kids.. sue em all, and send me some of the money..
and in like a year or so, get em all back secretly, wisely, and silently. |

one of the kids looked just like the from the diary of a whimpy kid movie. another kid looked the little kid from the klumps but smaller. it was almost insulting that these kids were actually trying to scare us. my part of linden new jersey isn't known for it's tough street gangs. i should have laughed it off. |

i was gonna say, if you're in jersey SUE. and you are.. yeah, that is nuts, man.. what's funny is, if the cop was getting jumped by kids and they had a bat, or even if they didn't, he would shoot em, but they say he's an adult, he should of known better..
one thing i learned about cops, they are supposed to serve and protect, but they only serve and protect thier own kind. the public just gets fined and arrested.. |

I would have stayed in the house.
Outside, it just spirals out of control. All the laws turn against you once you can't prove you were defending yourself / your family / your property...

If the police were out there once before,it should be noted they returned twice for the same kids.As far as proving anything, times like this,it pays to be on good terms with the neighbor folk.
