So normally you see women who are single parents (which i give anyone who is a single parents props because i'm a single parent myself) but something i've noticed recently why is it a person who is a single parent can't seem to get a date no matter what they do (at least guy wise). Its just a little confusing to me i'm a 27 yr. old single father of twin boys but it seems like as soon as a woman finds that out......she runs the other direction like i just slaughtered her kitten. Can someone explain this to me please

My fiance had a baby girl and I was in the process of adopting her before we got married. I have no issue dating a single mom and even with things going up in smoke for us I would do it again.

Well it might feel too fast if the person is only looking to date.
They might feel obligated to stay with you, or that you're looking for somebody for a long-term relationship when they don't want anything like that just yet. So they're just nipping a rose at the bud.

sounds pretty self explanitory to me man. Most women dont want to deal with someone elses kids and everything that goes with it. From having to "lose money" because her man pays child support, to having to deal with the "baby mamma" or ex wife.

Also, women kinda see you as the result of, a failure. Im not trying to insult you. Hear me out. Alot of women want the "perfect family". They dont want someone who already tried and failed.. thats what some of them see. you've already failed to keep a family together and that trips alarms in their heads about security etc etc etc.

Women suck and its hard to find a good one. But dont worry, go about your business and something will pop up. Remember, women smell desperation and flock to confidence.

I can't speak from experiance as I'm single but I don't see anything wrong with dating a guy who has kids. Now I have seen 2 sisters and my brother all go through the same thing. They all had kids and became single parents either through divorce or death and afterwards trying to find someone to date either seriously or casually became very hard.
I think it's a little of what Phorpus said and also it could be not wanting to take on another persons' child. It's not fair to the single parent who sometimes is made to feel like they must choose over a date or their child.

Thanks. It took me a few years in high school to learn it but once I did, nonstop dating!

More guys need to learn it.

Honestly, from the women I know they are more accepting to single fathers, than guys are to single mothers.

and the girls i know who avoid guys with children is because of "baby mama drama" , i have plenty of friends who were open to dating a guy with a child but were stalked or confronted by the ex girlfriend.

Its a woman thing in general i guess, because on the other hand i have friends with children who confront the woman there ex is dating, becasue there worried if the new girlfriend is going to be a good influence on there child.

and then there are the ex's who are like "LOVE ONLY ME!!" and are just crazy and don't want you to have anyone else.

i guess what im trying to say is, its not really, from myself, and other female friends of mine, not wanting to be involved with a single father, but more of a feeling of fear of the mother of the child/children.

and, i'm not saying that you have a crazy ex, or that problem at all, but it could be that they have had issues before with their past boyfriends ex's.

i hope i made sense.. lol. i know it made sense in my head, but i'm not always good at articulating my thoughts on to paper.. err.. computer.
