I was born in Orange NJ at St. Mary's Hospital.
I lived in West Orange, which is literally a few blocks away. Lived there until the better part of 6th grade then moved about 40 min south to Port Monmouth NJ. Stayed there till the begining of the 9th grade....and came right back to West Orange where I finished high school and stayed there till I was about 30. Now I live 20 min away and still find myself there enough. Actually, in the next year or 2, I'd like to head back in that general direction. Unlike everyone else I know around here who apparently hates NJ.....I'm pretty happy where I am. |

Kind of the same story with me. I was born in Marietta, Georgia and never lived more than 30 miles away. Now, I live about 463 miles away, in Scottsburg, Indiana. |

It is almost exactly 2000 miles from my birthplace in Oak Forest, IL to my current home in Los Angeles, CA. My dad grew up five miles from my current home, but that's essentially a coincidence since I moved here because of a job opportunity.

I should add that, at some point, I would love to live in the Chicago area again.

I am currently 463-478 miles away from where I was born, however, I grew up in Tallahassee, Fl which is 547-555 miles away from where I currently live. I kinda always wanted to leave Tally and when I was finally pushed out of the house by my parents, I went to North Carolina. I've also lived in Tennessee and in Kansas City for about year each.
