didn't they make a movie for this show later on? think I remember renting it in the 90's.

It was one of my favorite shows pretty much from day one. It was awesome until they changed to some kind of "elite" group and donned the tiger stripes and varied weapons. At that point it jumped the shark and was doomed to fade away...

Top 10 for me as a kid in the '80s:
1. GI JOE (duh)
2. Transformers
3. Thundercats/Silverhawks
4. Spiderman/Hulk
5. A-Team
6. Knight Rider
7. Tour of Duty
8. V
9. Airwolf
10. Miami Vice

Then Pvt Taylor had to go and star in Juwanna Mann :(
