So I was wondering, have any of you Hisstankers run out of room at your house and had to look into storing your collection at a storage locker facility?
If so did you take the plunge and put your collectibles in their? I am contemplating the idea but had concerns. I remember watching Mark Bellomo's youtube video and he had his collection in a storage locker. At one point he said it was like 95 degrees in the locker. I thought that can't be good for plastic that's MOC/MISB. Would a climate controlled locker be better for storing rubber maid bins full of action figures? If anyone can share their thoughts about storing your collection in a storage facility, Please let me know. Thanks! |

Abosuley, 100%, go climate control if you are able. Fluctuations of heat and cold will shorten the life of your plastic toys.

yes,we have a failed sewage sytem, dont pass the pressure test so we have to tear shit apart.i moved the collection out to garage so it wont get damaged as they got to punch trough the foundation to get to additions laundry room, then tear out floor in part of basement.
there is 22 gijoe filled containers.moved 3 in last night to ebay store shelves in closet so there is 19 left.i hope once the sewage is done next week i can get every thing organized to sell off,and find it when i need too.

I used to live in an apartment building and we had storage lockers in a room across from door. They weren't assigned, but we were only supposed to use one. By the time I moved out I had three of them, as well as a second bathroom in my apartment that became storage, stuffed to the max.
