I was at a Firefighter funeral today, wearing full class A uniforms. It was the Panama Canal running down the crack of my ass. It was worth it for a great guy. Here's to you Tim

9pm here is the dc suburbs and it's still 94! weather reports say continued 100's for the next couple days. heat waves are not entirely uncommon due to geography but this is going to get bad if it continues for the next couple days. it's already at 84 in the house and not going to get any better. at least i work in an office with air conditioning. there are plenty that don't and those are the guys i feel for.

Washington has some 'unusual cloud cover' for this time of the year. it's been mostly rainy and slighty windy. We've been sitting in the mid 70's since summer started but I think it;s climbing to 80 by next Sunday.... don't know what the heck is going on with the rest of the county.

My wife flew into Boston on Tuesday and they were having thunderstorms. A huge rainstorm hit right as they were coming in and they had to pull out of the landing because the pilot couldn't see the runway. They circled around a bit and ended up coming down 45minutes late. That's a serious thundershower. hot+rain= crap!

Damn, that is a serious storm when a trained polit can't see the runway.I agree,i hate a hot rainy day. When it stops raining,it makes it shot up another 10-20 degrees(atleast that is how it feels)
