Exactly...this is what we had going during our night and day shifts as well. Catty stupid things...."Oh the night shift had a cake for one of thier birthdays and left the extra plates and napkins out on the table last night."
Really? Is that a complainable offense? And yet when there were day parties entire tables of food were left for night to clean up and we never complained we just cleaned it up. Stuff like that just makes working an awful environment. There was a job opening a few months back on our side and she found out the people who applied for it (she is very good friends with the office admin so she gets all this info and should NOT be getting it....it's not her business) so, anyways, she runs to the office and tells them that if a certain person were to get the job, she wants out of that area because she refuses to work with him. Thing is, this guy is not bad....AT ALL. She is mad because, when the supervisors are having a convo on work time, he is sometimes standing there, right in on the convo. I get that he should probably be doing what he needs to do but, really? You wont work with this guy for that reason? If his shit doesn't get done, he will get hung for it. Why the hell worry about that? The only reason he stands there is because they let him....if he did that on our side, she is in the position to tell him to get to work....really pathetic how someone so 'dedicated' to the company values (teamwork, respect, integrity, etc.) wont be mature enough to put personal feelings for someone aside and learn to work with them. Hell, there are people I work with that I don't like but I bite my tongue and work. I am there to get paid, not to make friends or enemies. He ended up not getting the position and I recently got switched to the other side so I work with him and he is a riot! He is very funny and kind and we have great convos about music (he plays in a band) and wrestling. Last year, she whined about our co-worker and he ended up getting fired. He was a bit slow at what he did but this guy did shit that NO ONE else wanted to do and he NEVER complained about anything. Some people are just so pathetic, really. She will go around and talk rudely to people but when someone talks back, OMG I AM YOUR LEAD HAND, YOU CAN'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT. Uh, hello, you are a LEAD HAND, not a supervisor/manager. You are not that high on the importance totem pole ffs. No one should be rude to anyone, period.
