Since Ebay has raised it's final value fee and applied fees to shipping I'm second guessing where to move my old collections.
I'm new to the collectables forums and new to Joe collectiong since the early 90's. Is there a be all end all of collectables forums where you can get high dollar for 80's-90's collections of multiple genres? |

You can't leave ebay. They'll find you and get their fees no matter where you try to hide.

I've seen people using ebid, but I personally haven't found much there to buy...there just isn't stock.
Aside from that I'd try selling on various boards like here, create a thread list the items...I doubt you'll sell things as a complete collection but piece by piece should go. And I think some board members have sites that buy collections to resell them. Off hand check with BlueBikerBoy and his site www.jasonsjoesandmore.com I THINK not 100% sure that he used to maybe still does buy collections to sell on his site. |

I find that people on sites like this want a "Hook up". Ebay still fetches "top dollar" even if they take their 10 pounds of flesh.

Is there a large general collectors forum to list figures for the best exposure? |

What kind of collection are we talking. There's a site for everything. This one for joes, TFW for transformers, etc.

If it's from the 80' I probably have at least one figure from the line.
Mostly He-Man, Transformers, Super Powers, TMNT, MASK and a few other here and there. I would rather, out of laziness, list on one or two big forums. So I'm looking I guess for a general action figure forum that has a good trading post/ emporium/ buy sell section. |

I'm going to bump this for feedback on a general collectors forum that might be the best place to list items.
I brought back 5 boxes of action figs from my parents this weekend. Wow, what a pain in the ass to catalog but it's fun as hell digging through my old toys! |
