I am gonna sell these 12" Joes since I don't collect them. I bought them in Japan last year. I know these are US Joes and not Takara but I am just trying to see if anyone has an idea of what they might be worth. I will probably throw them on ebay. I would rather have 3 3/4 Joes. I have no clue about them so any info would help.

Left to right:
Action Sailor Navy Attack set-missing black binoculars (red ones came with 1967 Sabotage set), black hand-held searchlight and possibly one semaphore flag (I think I see the handle of one). A navy blue helmet is often included with this set, but was available on a separate card. Action Soldier Military Police set-missing "MP" armband, duffle bag and billy club. I think I see the holster behind his right hand-it should have a silver .45 pistol. The green fatigue cap goes with the Soldier box. Action Soldier box-appears to have an "R" by "G.I. Joe" and "Action Soldier". I believe this is a later '60's box. Inside should be a Joe figure with OD shirt, pants, brown boots, dog tag and the green hat mentioned earlier. 1970-73 Adventure Team Talking Commander (if he has a dog tag on a pull-string-if not, a 1970-73Land Adventurer) in early Talking Man Of Action or later AT Talking Commander fatigues (no lower pockets on shirt). Missing a black shoulder holster & revolver. Action Marine Medic-missing stretcher, Red Cross flag, and crutch. The set also came with some rolled-up bandages and a small gold safety pin (are they in the green medic bag?). The helmet should have white circles w/red crosses in them on the sides. Otherwise, it's a plain OD Soldier helmet. Aside from the AT commander, I think all these sets were available during the whole original vintage run from 1964-1968, but maybe only 'til '67. As for value, they all look to be in pretty good shape. They are, however, incomplete sets. I would think for the loose figures, about $50-75 each. The boxed Soldier (if there's a figure in there) should get you at least $100-150. As with everything else, I think the '60s Joe market has come way down from when I started collecting them almost 20 years ago. Of course, if you sell them on ebay, they're worth what someone is willing to pay for them at that moment. Hope that helped!! gijon out. |

Thanks for all the info man, greatly appreciated. I wish they could have more value to them but like you mentioned, the market is down and everyone seems to be collecting the 3 3/4 Joes lately also. I owe you one. The Joe that is in that box is the one in the brown uniform to the left of the top.

I will take a look and see what else is in the boxes with them. This was a quick pick I took when I got them in Japan. They weren't too expensive there but it sounds like its not worth it for me to sell them.
