I dont know though. The tear doesnt go all the way up the side, look at the bottom type, there is no tear through it ("Includes: Percussion") . The only other thing that worries me is it looks like the edge of the blister was cut or something, look at the blister under "inch line. Parrot" Its all jagged, as opposed to the rest which is smooth. Maybe from a razor? I dont know.

AFA has graded loose figures with AP weapons.
They are all based on this guy or that guy's opinion and whether or not (probably not) if he got laid that day. |

From the pic its just hard to tell. Heck, from outside the AFA plastic I'm sure it's hard to tell. I'd say you have a really nice fig, whether it was peeling from age or from him trying to seal it from peeling over time.
Still a nice treasure for your collection. |
