I have a wooden GI Joe Toybox-footlocker and want to know more about it. I got it around 1984 or 85, it is made from compressed wood and has a battle scene on the front. The back and sides are green and painted to look like a footlocker. The underside of the lid has a battlefield painted on it. Does anyone know anythig about this item? I've never seen another one and don't know anyone else with one. Just looking for some info, thanks.

I was just curious as to how rare it is, is it worth anything, because I just kind of have it laying around. I was thinking of taking it apart and putting the front on the wall since the pic is still in good shape.
FYI - I keep most of my remaining Joe toys in it still... |

It is not the VAMP toybox, I put a pic on my original post. Just wanted to know if this is worth anything? I was thinking about taking it apart and hanging the front on the wall, since the picture on front is still good.

Like I said, I don't know how rare it is, but I've only seen it once and that was at Joecon this past year. Me personally, I think I'd rather see it not get taken apart, but hey, it's your box so you can do what you want with it. If I had the money I'd offer to buy it from you

how much are you looking for it?
it's kinda neat. I wouldn't mind putting it in my toyroom, although I imagine shipping is gonna be a mo-fo on it. what's the dimensions?

but I'd say it's around 1 foot tall by 2 1/2 feet wide maybe 1 foot deep? I seem to remember it being bigger at Joecon though (odd that neither yojoe nor joeintel had dimentions up for it) |
