Hi Everyone,
My bestfriend, who's an avid toy collector, unfortunately passed away just recently and his mom asked me to help them out in selling or disposing off some of his smaller collections/lots since their family will be migrating soon to Australia and that they only wanna keep those that my bestfriend considered as his faves. Anyway, I'd like to know if these G.I. Joe figs are worth something or anything substantially good at all if they were to be sold? Coz if not, I think it'd be best to donate them to charity instead. I brought them to a toy collector's shop to have it valuated a few days ago and a group of guys approached me and asked if I was selling them. When I told them, "Maybe....", some made offers and others gave me their business cards and told me to give them a call if ever I decided to. Some pics can be seen at here Notice that there are black squares on the pics as they are price tags that were not removed from way back when they were bought. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks! |

i dont know the value, or the effect of having price tags like that on them, but you dont want to give them to charity.
sell them and then buy some new toys to give to charity if you like. but im guessing these shouldnt be opened to play with at this point. they are antiques. you could probably buy 60 current figures for the price of these 6 vintage.

wow interestinly those don't have the hasbro logo on the front but a diffrent one. i'm asuming that this is similar to funskool in india. so that may make them a rarer item for collectors

Wow nilco Gi Joes. These are very rare Joes from Egypt. They were made in India and had a very low number produced. It may be only one series that was made. Could get very good money for these.

That's an understatement. These are very very rare. Put them up on ebay individually and they should command hundreds of dollars each.

Yes, those are quite rare. I'm not sure they would be hundreds each, but a few of them would fetch a few hundred. If you are interested in selling them here I would make you an offer.
