Wow, they really were all about using X-Men stuff back then, here and with the unproduced '95 stuff I guess that's what was on the pegs.
Interesting to see 2 ups when the current hyper detailed stuff ia done nearly to scale. I remember at the con in...'94 I think, I haven't been to many. It was the 30th anniversary one on board the Intrepid aircraft carrier in New York. They had the actual size parts laying out since they were announcing the Savage line. I personally find this pretty fascinating. The solid concept pieces are something I never would have thought existed. I expected to come back from joecon with more 2ups but failed. hahahahah. in fact my mission was to ONLY buy 2ups at joecon. actually I bought a 2up and then ended up trading it. heheheheh.

it's been brought to my attention that the odd green mock ups might actually have been used for Extreme essentially and not Sgt. Savage.
Again I could only go off the information I was given essentially for a set like this. however, being the argumentative sleuth I am... I would suggest that maybe this presentation set is connected to both lines... they put up the scale... said no this isn't what we were looking for after all... sgt savage was released... and then they just ended up using the scale for Extreme instead. but that's just me trying to make sense of a situation where someone knowledgeable says "sgt savage" and someone else knowledgeable says "extreme." I usually tend to, in situations like this, assume maybe both answers to a mystery equal the answer. doesn't always work though. heheheheh.

What is the deal with the laughter? Goggles your post are almost unreadable because of your new trademark of laughing at your own statements. All I can think of is Otho from Beetlejuice

i've been laughing at my own statements since I've been on this board. although I must say your Otho reference is highly amusing.

if I was as introverted on here as I can be in real life... everyone would think I was an elitist prick. and then I wouldn't have gotten to make and meet the friends I did at con. it has less to do with caring what other people think of me and more to do with the simple fact that I'd rather be friends or at the very least forum peers than not. every time someone says "it's just toys, it's just the internet" I try and say "yes that's true but while we're here on the internet with toys... once in a while... let's really do it." and then sometimes I just get a bit silly because honestly (and hopefully there's 3 dozen people who can now attest to this more so than not after meeting me)... I'm really not an elitist prick. (unless we're talking music).
