get your heads outta the gutter!
anybody out there have any suggestions for removing screws that have rusted to an unscrewable point? i have a BAT and a wet-suit that are in need of repair and the screws...won't... i've done some messing around and have tried drilling them out. only problem is it leaves the stem in and it is un-retrievable. playing with toys in the bathtube as a kid was a bad idea for longevity of the toys...i mean come on, they're only like 25 years old now. |

i've gotten a couple screws out of things by putting some super glue
on the tip of an alan wrench or any other skinny tool etc and gluing it to the screw... and letting it dry... obviously only using a small bit of glue... and then the tool and screw become one and you can just twist very slowly... sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't hold. obviously the downside is getting glue stuck inside. itz more suicidal than surgical. heheheheh.

Get a screw extractor kit. I've had to do this on a few figures and it work very well if done correctly (after the first couple attempts of course). Just be very very careful when removing it and make sure the drill bit you are using is the correct size for the screw you are trying to remove.

that was something i was trying last night. only it took too long for the super glue to dry so my impatience won and it didn't work. might try that again.

I used the same thing to get a couple screws outta a few Joes backs. Just spray it on let it sit for a few minutes than try it.
