Has Hasbro ever released any production numbers on any line of Joes? I would really be interested if there were some differences in distrobution of some figures and vehicles to different parts of the United States and the world. Would particularly be interested in USS Flagg distrobution. Those rare figures listed in this thread are sick!!!

We have Sears up here, btw. Back in the '80s, it was a good place to buy Joes, not so much anymore.

Hi, I'm new to the forums!
I'm surprised (and pleased) that more than six years since the first White Mortal appeared, it still remains a mystery for most collectors. Is the #1 rarest figure in the world, but in no way is a mystery. BTW, the rarest vehicle must be the Rubiplas tan Thunder Machine. Only 2 known: http://www.yojoe.com/international/v...rmachine.shtml Last edited by Figurasdeaccion; 12-11-2009 at 11:24 AM.. |

I looked it up to be sure - it was actually called the "Cobra Combat Set" and it was, according to yojoe a Sears Canada exclusive. Pic here: YOJOE.COM | Cobra Combat Set (Canada) As far as I know, Shane's is the only MIB example known to exist in collectors' hands.

I am not aware of the Kangor with black gloves, only the variant of white Cobra symbol on gloves vs. black cobra symbol on gloves.
ps. I bought that from Corey at the show as he was pulling them out of his van. He and I had spoken before the show and planned it that way. I ended up getting about 900.00 worth of MOC funskool from him there, which really made the trip worth it!! My shorthand apparantly made for a misunderstanding on the Kangor - I meant black LOGOs on the gloves. I should really start sucking up to Corey more.....of course, by now, you've cleaned him out.....

Well, is not the best. The community of (hardcore) collectors is very small, about a dozen people. The newer stuff come to the stores, but at high prices, so I buy mostly on ebay USA. To find the vintage stuff, I need to go to flea markets, garages sales and through other collectors. The online sales are dominated by Mercadolibre, but you don't find usually good stuff in there. We have some conventions, but nothing focused on GIJoe specifically.
