Well I'm wondering just how popular [or unpopular]
these guys are. I see them so cheap, well except Dee Jay who maybe a few dollars more than the regular BF 2000 Guys. How Many of you own them? And I want to see some pictures of the Future Fortress and what it looks like. -Since I'm currently working on getting all the BF2000 Vehicles...already gotten the Vindicator, and Pulverizer-I know that one doesn't have a part for the fortress] Already own the Vector Jet and the Eliminator. I know these guys will have a special place in my collection and are the first guys I ever really saw get killed in the comics....Dee Jay looked cool till he got killed. I wonder what exactly lead to their downfall [the figures and vehicle] in popularity or were they typical Joe Fodder back in the day? |

I had three of them. I could not even tell you there names if I wanted to. The guys with the white, green, and black uniforms. I liked the figures not so much the vehicles. About the time those came out was also when first comics was making the terminator comics and I liked them because they looked like future resistance fighters. So yeah I played terminator allot with my Joes.

I liked the subset. My only complaint is that the vehicles really didn't make a decent base.

If the pieces had linked up into a truly "assembled" base I think BF2000 would be much more fondly remembered. |

I have all the figures and vehicles of Battleforce 2000, i dont have all the pieces to make the fortress though. I liked them when i bought them. They are ok, my favorite vehicles are Eliminator and Marauder. Back in the 90s, i was just buying up every figure and vehicle i never had, so they just got added to the pile.

I always loved Dodger and Knockdown, but we never saw any of their vehicles here in Iceland

I've got a Dodger, but that's it. Can't say i'm impressed by any of the designs.

I believe I had them all aside from Dee-Jay
Avalanche Blaster Blocker Dodger Knockdown Maverick I didnt mind them b/c being 5/6 at the time they came out I didn't think of em as anything but Joes. I also had the Vector Jet which was cool b/c it had the deployable turret. But the vehicle itself did, even then, seem kinda cheap to me. I have no real dislike towards the line, most of the figs were cool and could be slotted in with different figs. Maverick easily could have worked with the Defiant. The BF2000 figs were also cool b/c you could get them in 2-packs

I have them all and some of the vehicles. I got them as a bulk deal from eBay 2 years ago. It was a real bargain, $35 for the lot plus Maverick's jet...Vindicator? I like them, especially the jet.
I remember seeing them in Canada when they first came out. I REALLY wanted them but I had just bought a bunch of joes and my Granma wouldn't let me buy anything more. :( So finding them as a set was a dream come true. The figures are pretty cool for what are essentially repainted figs with new heads. |

I have the whole set and I think there great.
What may have gone wrong is that there were no familier faces in this subgroup. It was made up of all original characters and sculpts. Blocker and balster are my faverites from thie team. I thouht the vecle's were great. |
