Desert Apache looked pretty badass in the box although I never got it.
So I'd go with that. |

72 hours to get some more votes in. It's clear, by the number of votes, that the 90s are not that popular. lol

I fell victim to the same thing a few years ago. We were discussing "must haves", and 99% of my choices were vehicles I'd had at some point. This was part of that 1% that was in the "wishlist" category. Needless to say, after it was brought to my attention that it was an undersized reuse of a toy from another line, I edited my wishlist.

Somehow it's worse than Trendmaster's Godzilla Apache, which were small but at least had "glass canopies".
Another toy Apache I forgot it existed. JoMi toys: True Heroes Apache AH-64 Longbow Edit: I forgot Blue Box made that realistic Apache. So that would be the best from that standpoint. Last edited by Sean_C; 12-22-2023 at 06:07 PM.. |

I voted for Fort America, I had one and the tank form kind of sucked but it was pretty awesome transformed into Fort mode. One of my favorite base playsets.

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except people logging on to their computers or phones to vote in this poll!

It's unfortunate that this 1992 Sonic Fighters line Fort America battle fortress name was lampooned at the start of this poll, because it might have received more votes otherwise. A tank platoon of these Fort Americas soundly defeated Cobra in the final minutes of the second season DIC episode, Shadow of a Doubt (November 1991). I can't remember if it ever appeared in the comic books. As a combat tank vehicle, the colors and sculpt could almost pass for a G.I. Joe vehicle from ten years earlier. It had the added features of disguising itself as an urban battlescape, included a working missile launcher, and eight separately activated sound effects.
