Avalanche - I recall people like this one, which is strange. It's the epitome of too many weapons, too few crewmen, glass canopies, detachable pod, and yet another arctic fighting vehicle. The hollow underside seems cheap to me. Fix that and I might be a fan.

Cobra Overlord's Dictator - Some people don't like it. In regular mode it's a fine villain ride, but the detachable jet set isn't convincing even my late 80's GI JOE standards. Overlord rockets away with his feet dangling in the air!

Cobra Piranha - It's a fine one man boat. It lack a GI JOE contemporary and that hurt it. Yeah, the Tiger Force stuff from previous years, but those weren't used in the toon. So you had Cobra using boats and no Joe boats.

Cobra Rage - Too many weapons. Wheels don't make sense. Who needs traction in the city? But I liked aspects of it.

Destro's Dominator - Fragile and flimsy, and asymmetrical. There's a lot of silliness in concept and design. How are there miniguns on the engines? Where's the tail rotor? Almost the worst vehicle of the year...because any version of the SHARC sucks more.

General - I didn't have one until as a collector. Some good points, manned turrets, some weak ones...control rooms are blah. Drivers compartment is hollow on bottom.

Hammer - Nice idea on paper. The toy seemed large and guns were huge.

Hammerhead - Nice idea on paper...lol. Seems like the BUGG but a cheaper, simpler design. Launch all the mini vehicles and attack the sky sharc, I guess. What else is there to attack that's Joe and underwater?

Hurricane VTOL - I liked it but seemed a bit rickety.

I went with the Piranha. Small but simple and rather nice, considering the "golden age" of vehicles was over. Not too garish or gaudy, and looks like it could have existed in the 1986 line.
