Very, very nice and thank you for sharing! The artwork on its own, is definitely something worth collecting and worth getting graded and to enjoy it on full display.

It's hard to believe these were $129 in the store! I think Toys R Us had them for $119.

I was always mystified by sealed boxes but as I get older I understand the rarity of these and the desire to have one. But I guess if you can resource something like this you could get a second open one?

Congrats man. Opened. Unopened. It doesn't matter, that is a fantastic find. My only question is ... where you gonna put it?

Most everyone I talked to said these things are so extremely fragile-even more so than a Flagg because the hinges on the gantry doors always go causing those doors to crack., the elevating mechanism often fails too & several other things... I got nervous and didn't buy the sealed bags one to put together : ( I still would like to find one in sealed bags for around $2500. I'd put it together and a friend was telling me just leave it up in the elevated position to display & I should be fine-don't keep raising & lowering it.

Not sure where this person got their info from but don't you just love it when ebay sellers make stuff up!?
ONE Defiant per TRU store gimme a break. https://www.ebay.com/itm/155802124326 Also their asking price is ballpark number on a sealed, HIGH GRADE one. Fair price on a open box/sealed bags is between $2500-$5000 depending on how nice the box is.
