Any of the vintage o-ring connoisseurs/collectors could potentially shed some light and help me determine the value of these? I believe they're complete for the most part. Cheers!!

I'd say that lot could go for roughly $800-900, maybe a little more if you sold them off individually ($1200ish total). But it also really depends on the condition they are all in too. Like do any have broken thumbs or crotches, loose joints? They look like they are decent, but it's sometimes impossible to tell just looking at a pic. I notice quite a few are missing some of their weapons and gear which lessens the value a bit, especially if it's an important item.

I'd suggest looking at https://www.yojoe.com/action/ if you need to identify anything pictured, and then looking on eBay for completed sold listings for those figures in buy it now format to get a sense for recent resale prices. Some aren't complete, which will hurt their value compared to a complete with file card figure listing, and then as a lot I'd expect lower resale than the sum of the individual figure values.

I'd be interested in that Viper and Zartan.
That aside, There's a lot missing here, a couple of stand-outs that would really bring the value of the lot up are Spirit (eagle claws), Zartan (pads, gun, etc.) Sneak Peek (mic), and Croc Master (hose). Those accessories basically make up the value of their respective figures, because they're what's always lost. Using Sneak Peek as an example, his mic is the difference between a $60-70 figure and a $10 figure. That being said, it's definitely a good lot, and still will command a couple/few hundred bucks, especially if you part it down, maybe selling the rarer accessories on their own. You have Tunnel Rat's flashlights there, and those are another of those "value-making" accessories. If you're patient, you could get $15-20 each on those alone.

If you'd like, I can quickly make you a comprehensive list of what's missing and what's complete- I can basically see that at a glance.

Complete or not, that's a great looking collection. I've seen some sellers who'll take a group pic and then have a drop-down menu for the characters to let the buyer decide who they want and who is still available. But I'm not sure how that works if you don't do the "Buy it Now" option.
Edit: Sorry if I'm assuming you want to sell. I'm sure some just want to know what the collection is worth for insurance, etc. Last edited by TheOverlordCorp; 04-06-2023 at 01:40 PM.. |
