Best Figure of 1988 (Vehicle Drivers)

There were 11 different vehicle drivers in 1988, so I took the last one... Windmill... and stuck him in the Night Force and Misc. poll. Again, with the vehicle drivers poll I remind everyone that the vehicle does NOT count... only the figure. Otherwise, I 100 percent would have picked Ghostrider, with his awesome Stealth Fighter.

This poll comes down to two figures, for me... Destro and Ghost Rider. However, Ghost Rider's main draw is his vehicle, so I have to go with Destro here, as he is probably the coolest looking figure in this wave. They took an already cool version of Destro and made it better with version 2.

For me, without question, v3 Slaughter with his Warthog. v2 Destro's a close second though.

Tough choice between Armadillo and Skidmark.

I kid, I kid, I kid...

I'm sure Destro V2's going to take this in a walk, but I'm also partial to Secto-Viper as one of the cooler "wacky" designs from this period.

I didn't have any of the vehicles from 88 as a kid but for some reason I had Ferret. Looking at them now from a coolness and iconic perspective, I'd choose Star Viper and Destro respectively.

not only will i never NOT vote for sgt.slaughter, but this figure AND the warthog are a masterpiece.

This was an easy one for me, as IG Destro is one of my all-time favorite figures. I definitely give an Honorable Mention to V3 Sgt. Slaughter, though, as this is my favorite version of his character and like THEDARKONE508 said, the Warthog is a masterpiece.

yeah im not going to lie and say i dont like IG destro. that's my favorite version of him. the only critique i have is why in the world is one boot slouched? i'd think he would be pretty aware that a boot is slouched and keep it fixed upright.
