Best Figure of 1988 A-L (Carded)

1988! Hasbro puts out the largest number of figures, yet and this would be a theme moving forward until the end of the line, with 1993 putting out nearly 100 figures in a single wave! Imagine if Hasbro put out 100 Classified figures in a single calendar year? Most of us would go bankrupt! lol

There are a couple of figures that I didn't include in these polls, because they aren't too noticeably different than versions from previous polls and those are Starduster (v1B) and Steel Brigade (v1B and v1C).

1988, like other years, has a few stalwart characters and a handful of average (or below average) ones. For the A-L poll, I had a hard time deciding between Hydro Viper and Iron Grenadier (with Hit and Run coming closely behind). In the end, however, 1988 was the year of the Iron Grenadiers, so I went with the main trooper of the faction!

Hit & Run. Figure design is awesome. The rope bag with the grappling hook and that Mod 635 were just too cool.

Hit & Run is just a great figure in my opinion. One of my all time faves from the ARAH line.

I went Iron Grenadier but Hit and Run is a close second. Such a cool paint job and weapon.

I'm not surprised Hit & Run is this popular, but I am a little surprised that he's more popular than the Iron Grenadiers.

i had so much grief over hit n run, it was worth finally getting one. teasing from my parents who were tired of me talking about him all the time and trading a bunch of great stuff for a lamp melted hit n run just to have him (his foot was melted off); and then eventually getting one in great condition.
