I'm trying to figure out what could be considered the worst combination of ugly ARAH parts. In the end I want to compose a figure of those parts and challenge myself to customize and paint it to make it look more acceptable, sometime in this new year. (Perhaps more customizers want to join me in this challenge, then we could make it a community project.)
I already made a list myself of parts which I think aren't favorite of most collectors. The parts required to come from "regular" figures, so no Cobra La, Star Brigade aliens or Street Fighter. They also had to be easily available or kinda cheap, I don't want to buy the expensive Cobra Air Devil and take it apart for this. Some obvious parts are left out, because I already have a WIP laying around including that part (Annihilator head and Track Viper for example). You can vote on multiple options. This poll is about waist/leg sculpts only. Last edited by Tim 121RVC; 01-03-2023 at 10:36 AM.. |

Once I read as far as Dee-Jay, I needed to read no further.

hotseat's lower legs arent bad. i filled his upper outer legs with resin and sanded them smooth, i used his whole set of legs for my guardians of the galaxy disney xd cartoon custom.
dont just consider painting these parts. sand the hell out of them. fast draw was one of my votes, and i have a ton of his legs - it just now occurred to me sanding those stupid bumps off would be good for them. |
