Yes it's sealed in the case. The U stands for Uncirculated. Anything that is sent in for grading which is still factory-case sealed or 'case fresh' gets the U designation meaning it has never been out of the sealed case...
The Flagg's & Defiant's never came in cases due to their size so they had shipping sleeves instead. This one was still sealed in its shipper sleeve upon grading.
