I prefer Tiger Force, I did so many customs 10 years ago, I fell in love with the concept. From my Tiger Force MCC and Skystriker to my Phantom there were so many I never got around to doing. I did end up taking a step further for water vehicles and made Tiger Shark version of some vehicles. that were Light blue with bluish gray stripes. If anyones curious what they look like you can just click the link in my signature to see them. I did enjoy the Night force vehciles but I never understood why Black vehicles had Bright neon orange missles and guns.

The toy gimmick that the Night Force line seemed centered around would feature Glow-in-the-Dark Battle Labels. These were originally intended to be Orange labels with black lettering, as was painted on each of the first five vehicle front box illustrations, seen on the prototype toy photos on the back of the package, used for the package logo on the action figures, and even photographed for the Toys R Us 1988 advertisements. These mostly black vehicles attempted to match the intended Glow-in-the-Dark orange color by having smaller orange plastic accessory parts, to complete that overall aesthetic. They must have discovered a problem at the factory late in the manufacturing process and had to abandon the orange color on all of the Battle Labels. These labels would have to be white to achieve their intended results. The second year of Night Force went forward in 1989, this time both painting and photographing the next three prototype toys with White Glow-in-the-Dark Battle Labels, and even the new Toys R Us advertisements featured their white labels. In order to maintain some level of consistency with the line, the Orange Night Force team emblem remained, as did the orange color accessory parts on those black vehicles.

I never got to buy anything Night Force as Tiger Force was more prominent in the UK. But i do prefer TF stuff. I always thought of them more for desert missions. Its cause thats how they were used in an Annual for the Action Force UK comics.

Torn. I find Night Force more appealing now to an adult mind but as a kid, Tiger Force. The colors and pattern Tiger Force really grabs you.

My neighborhood here at Fort Campbell is called Gardner Hills, named in memory of 1st Lt. James A. Gardner who helped to form and train Tiger Force, a task force of the 101st Airborne Division's 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions. An absolutely amazing soldier.

Night Force is cool, and a lot of the paint jobs are better than the originals. However, I like Tiger Force because it took figures that were off the shelves for a while and brought them back. Plus, the gimmick of turning old Cobra vehicles into Joe vehicles was really neat.

Tiger Force is a better subteam because they're more distinct.
Night Force works better in Classified, though, because you can just treat them as toned-down outfits to fit a more realistic joe team.

Summarized my feelings. I don't like Tiger Force because they stand out from everyone else. Night Force still do, but it's not as bad. I just treat them more as the stealth team which makes a bit more sense than a wild group of jungle commandos. Although that does sound bad ass.
