This is a underrated era, and 1990 was one of the all-time best years for figures.
My favorites: - Hit & Run - Iron Grenadiers - Road Pig - Storm Shadow - Shockwave - Spearhead - NF Repeater - Alley Viper - Annihilator - Gnawgahide - Night Viper - Recoil - Stalker - Snake Eyes - TARGAT - Bullhorn - Laser Viper - Range Viper - Rampart - SAW Viper - Night Creeper - Decimator - Undertow

I have very little familiarity with the ARAH Joes from around 1988-on, since I stopped collecting them in 1987.
However, I would sometimes go to toy stores to look around during that time, and I do regret not getting: Hardball (1988): Great figure, and I liked the multi-grenade launcher weapon. I like the "informality" re: the baseball uniform as well. It slightly reminded me of Bazooka in the pseudo-football uniform, but still was unique. Stalker V2 (1989): Excellent figure & outfit. While not as iconic as the original '82 version, this was an interesting new take on the character. Rock & Roll V2 (1989): Another excellent update on an iconic character. These are going for crazy prices online, so I hope that somewhere down the road they re-release these in the retro line - especially given than none of these came out in the 25th Anniversary-on line(s). Headhunters, Headhunter stormtroopers and 94 Alley Vipers, 1991 Duke, Rock Viper, BAT, Bullhorn, Range Viper, Undertow, Big Ben, Snow Serpent, Heavy Duty, Firefly, Destro, Cobra Commander,Ice Cream Soldier. These are all the gems from early 90's. the rest were mediocre.

The coolest looking figure from that era, imo.

Yes, but these weren't easily available to most of us. I never joined this club because the expense of the club & those figures wasn't worth what you were getting. I also felt that some of these figures were sub-par, based on the pictures I saw online.
