You know, it would be really cool if the Imp got released as part of the retro line. It is yet another vehicle that I would probably buy several of, just like the HISS.

That's a good idea. Small vehicles are obviously easier to get to retail. I could see things like the IMP, Water Moccasin, Devilfish, get releases. I'd personally love to see the Swampmasher get a release, as that was one of my favorite small vehicles.

Never liked it as a kid but do as an adult. You can imagine them rumbling slowly in formation - 3 or 4 abreast, masses of them in a parade as Cobras leaders look down from on high on a balcony - much like in Soviet Era Russia. I always think its perfectly paired with a V1 Toxo Viper. I own two now, both fully stripped down, cleaned and restored with reproduction stickers from Toyhax. I do wish the drivers area had a better seating area and a hatch to protect the operator.
I also think it would have been very nice in IG colours - perhaps the same colours as the D.E.M.O.N with gold missiles and dark grey mines for contrast. It would also have made a good Toxo Viper vehicle - with 'toxic' mines.

I have 2 Imp's, including the one from my childhood. It saw plenty of playtime. Often with a Techno Viper, Iron Grenadier or the Sonic Fighter Viper at the wheel.

Yes, a great vehicle! I think it's underappreciated.
The mines made the role of Tripwire and Lightfoot a lot more important for the Joes. I like the driver's seat, as you can make the driver stand up or let him sit inside the tank. A hatch would've been perfect for protection. I have plans to customize an IMP or two in the future. |

I missed the IMP the first time around because I had stopped collecting ARAH by the time this was released.
However, now that I have a much bigger appreciation for the 1988-1994 figures/vehicles - I really like this. And, I would definitely be onboard for a re-release of this in the current retro line. I agree it would be tailor-made for the line because it's a smaller vehicle that would definitely fit into the current price point for these vehicles. I would buy at least 1, and maybe even 2. I want one, but I can't decide if it should be black to match the HISS, or blue to tow an ASP.

It's a weird vehicle. Not *bad* per se, but has an odd shape and the driver looks like he fell in a pothole.
