I have the AWE Striker but I do not own a VAMP at the moment, so I really can't say.

The A.W.E Striker is the first vehicle I got as a kid. I do not own the V.A.M.P. and I prefer the Cobra version (Stinger). So I prefer the A.W.E. Striker.

Forgive my lack of knoweldge, I dont know that much about GI Joe. Can anyone tell me if recent Retro re-releases of A.W.E, H.I.S.S, and F.A.N.G are the same as the 80's o-rings vintage molds? (I know the figures aren't)

The FANG is definitely not, but the AWE Striker and HISS are identical or, at least, very close reproductions.
