They did Duke wrong.
It's OK. Kind of a Spaceball's Dark Helmet thing going on. Last edited by AWOL; 09-29-2021 at 12:51 PM.. |

The 85 Armadillo earns an honorable mention as being a pretty dippy design for a tank with low ground clearance & a huge overhang in front, along with little protection for the driver. I never really liked the design so I didn't get one until about a year and a half ago when I was filling some gaps in my collection. Still doesn't dazzle me.
This seemed appropriate to quote here. |

'85 Shipwreck gave way to The Village People comparisons.
While the '94 figure was a welcome break from the neon of the 90s. |

I don't like any of the clean-shaven heads on the '82 figures, or Crankcase.
I don't know what it is about Crankcase I don't like. Cover Girl's head is pretty awful. Tripwire and the HISS driver have big heads and look kind of stupid. |

Also, I've said it before in other places on here, but if you're looking for a great replacement head for Cover Girl, check out Luke's Toy Box on Facebook. He's made regular Sunbow, MASS Device and GI Joe: The Movie versions of a replacement head for Courtney. I have the regular Sunbow and MASS heads, and they're fantastic. |

Tripwire always looked weird to me, too.

I loathed Battleforce 2000. When my parents got me Knockdown as a child, I asked if they were punishing me. lol
If I had still been collecting at the time, I also would have hated DEF, Eco Warriors and Star Brigade. For Classified, I can't stand Pimp Daddy Destro. The rest all look pretty good, certain designs notwithstanding (CC's cape interferes with trying to make him sit down). |
