I'd have to say Bazooka. His outfit and cartoon appearance didn't scream elite at all. In fact they kind of suggested he's infantile and maybe even a little mentally challenged. Almost like a little kid.

I didn't like Mutt's MAC-10 or MAC-11, whichever it was. It was just too small. Loved that design because of 80's movies like Scarface and Lone Wolf McQuade, and wanted a good one for my figures.
And while I loved Recondo's rifle, the stock was too fat and it didn't really tuck under his arm well. Also loved Spirit's figure but couldn't really get into his dart rifle thing. Some type of lever-action would have suited him well, but I guess that could be a little too on-the-nose for a Native scout lol. Still better than a bow and tomahawk I guess! And while I played with the figure a lot, never really was a fan of the Techno-Viper. Fat head and baggy pants and a lame radio thing. And I always wondered what was in the Crimson Guard's "dress backpack"? |

Man, now that you say that, then I think Torpedo would be very well suite for the heist in the Netflix show Money Heist. The vault floods if you try to tamper with it.

Well, I still lvoe the vehicle. Just don't like how the figures fit in it lying down. I remedied that in one of my newer ones but it was so much work I didn't bother doing it on my 25th Anniversary Sharc. The original thread was here: https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...t-spectre.html

I loved the Sharc as a kid and remembered playing with it in the bathtub. However, as an adult, I hated it.

The original thread was here: https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-j...t-spectre.html It’s weird how stuff not only resonates with different people differently, but also our feelings about things can change over time. When I was a kid I always thought the PAC-Rats and mini play sets were okay. Some better than others. However, now as an adult looking back. Things like the Forward Observer Unit, Cobra Bunker, Machine Gun Defense Unit, and Watchtower hold some of my fondest memories of play.

I love them now as an adult. They are so cool for setting up scenes and stuff and they were some of the most realistic parts of the Joes too.

When I was a kid, I was completely disinterested in any vehicle that didn't come with a driver figure. As a result, I missed out on some really cool playsets like the '83 Headquarters and the Tactical Battle Platform. I acquired those both as an adult collector and they're awesome.
