I didn't like Mutt's MAC-10 or MAC-11, whichever it was. It was just too small. Loved that design because of 80's movies like Scarface and Lone Wolf McQuade, and wanted a good one for my figures.
And while I loved Recondo's rifle, the stock was too fat and it didn't really tuck under his arm well. Also loved Spirit's figure but couldn't really get into his dart rifle thing. Some type of lever-action would have suited him well, but I guess that could be a little too on-the-nose for a Native scout lol. Still better than a bow and tomahawk I guess! And while I played with the figure a lot, never really was a fan of the Techno-Viper. Fat head and baggy pants and a lame radio thing. And I always wondered what was in the Crimson Guard's "dress backpack"? |

I reperpoused a few Snake armors as deep sea diving suits. Cobras answer to deep six. Black major made a chrome yellow snake armor that I added a few black and red highlights to so that it matches the secto viper color scheme. It looks pretty good displayed with the bugg.

He makes factory repros of oring figures. Night vipers, alley vipers, eels, troopers, all in different colors and themes hasbro never produced. For instance he makes a python patrol night viper and snow serpent an eel in copperhead colors and so on. Definitely a whole new side to gi joe collecting. Here's an example of the eels https://surveillanceport.com/2021/02...torial-review/

For figures:
82-83 are all top shelf for me. No misses at all. 84 I didn't care for Blowtorch. Mainly his colors. 85 was much more hit or miss for me. I could do without Barbecue, Bazooka, Airtight, All the Dreadnoks, The Tele-Viper, Quick Kick and I've never been partial to V2 Snake Eyes either. I still prefer Commando SE. For vehicles: in 82 I wasn't a fan of the Missile Command HQ. A friend had it. I didn't care for the HAL or JUMP, either. In 83: just the JUMP again. In 84: I wasn't a fan of the SHARC, Sky Hawk or CLAW. ( I much prefer the Viper/Falcon Glider) In 85: Just the Silver Mirage
