Does anyone have an extra Mobat turret machine gun they are willing to sell? How do you know which version of it you need Ive seen one with an open slot and one with a closed slot or does it matter?

Are you a stickler for getting an original part? 3D printed repros of this show on up eBay frequently, and are usually pretty cheap. They even come in alternate designs that are kind of cool.

Original one had no slot. It caused too many to break so they revised it with the open slot. I know the original ones matched the paint color to the turret.

The 2008 one was slightly darker or greyer. I do not know if there is a way to distinguish the UBP one from an original though.

Also, I believe the one without a slot will not fit on a Mobat turret that was designed for the slot. It will actually leave a stress mark on it if you try to force it in.

if your talking the original mobat you can tell by the treads.

Thanks I just purchased a Mobat and plan on putting together a set of originals I had as a kid.
