Title pretty much says it. I'm looking back through my ARAH collection and really want to re-equip a lot of my Joes that came with 'rope' since the orig. is either knotted, frayed, glued, missing, etc.
I appreciate any suggestions, it doesn't have to be a dead ringer, hopefully it is, but anything that is real close will be fine too. Thanks in advance for any help! |

It might be a little thick, but you should look at the zip line and string from the Ret. red Ninja, Ret. Ally viper, and some of the other Ret. Figures.
If you are looking for the black hose that some of the ARAH figures had, you can buy a whole roll of that from Smalljoes.com.

Funny, I was literally just thinking of posting the same question, but I decided I'd just take some that I do have with me the next time I'm I'm somewhere that sells sewing supplies.
Hopefully someone chimes in with a concrete answer, or a source that it can be ordered from, rather than having to play mix and match. Not a terrible suggestion, but that string is WAY too thick.

Lego has used some different types of rope and string for their sets over the years, just go to bricklink / parts / string & net and you will find what you are looking for. If you are on a budget and can find string around the house in the correct thicknes but wrong colour it can easily be dyed black with a sharpie.
