If you don’t already have them, or if you army build vehicles, then yes; they are good for what they are. I already have the best versions of these, so I bought them for the figures and sold off the vehicles.

The new FANG is trash but the 25th version is good, though I guess with the different back peg it likely be any use for a purely vintage guy (ditto the 25th+ Trouble Bubbles I suppose). Likewise, footpegs may be an issue for you. Otherwise, I'd take most of the 25th/RoC/PoC/50th/Retro ones over the originals personally. Better RAM, better Vamp/Stinger, Snow Cat, Water Moccasin, Sky/Ghost Hawk, Serpy's chariot, etc. And as long as future Retro releases avoid the all new FANG debacle and just provide improved tooling for the classic designs, I'll have no problem picking them up.
The Skytsriker and Toma/Eaglehawk are contentious though. I prefer the OG 2 seater Skystriker with parachutes to the newer single seater version, and don't like how the chopper lost the glass floor canopy for painted plastic |

Oh yeah, forgot about the Fang. Still on the fence about the pilot, but a definite no thanks to that stubby-tailed Fang.

$30 bucks. I just realized today you can actually buy them on the Walmart website and have em shipped unlike the joe stuff you have to find in a store.

I like the FANG re-design and pilot (I may be the only one lol). I will not actively seek one out (I have two from the 25th line) but if the price is right I may pull the trigger. I've been pretty set that I won't get the Hiss or Awe Striker since I have the 25th Anniv versions of both but who knows if the wave of nostalgia will hit me if I see them and I decide to get them. I am eager to see what the next wave of figures and vehicles will be.
Yeah Lol I think you may your pick of that Fang man. Doesn’t sound like many are hot for it. I think it was a really missed opportunity on Hasbro. They should have left the art work well enough alone and just released a Cobra Officer on vintage card in the same wave. There was no pilot included with the vintage one so I don’t think the retro one needed at mini classified looking pilot.

I think folks are missing the point of these: it's not the vehicle, it's the box. Sure if you want a HISS or FANG you can buy a 25th or even a vintage loose one. But if you want that box, in reasonable condition (especially if sealed), you gotta pay $$$

Cross Country, I agree with the plastic on the retro tank - it’s slightly different maybe a little duller than my 25th hisses. Either way I’m glad to have another hiss in my collection - CC has amassed a nice little army of them in my joeverse |

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Only-At-W...gure/265527490 I think some people like to collect G.I. Joe stuff and leave it MOC or MISB because they really like the artwork and maybe it reminds them of 80's toy store shelves and their childhood. Also MOC or MISB might have higher resale value in the future. But I personally like to open up G.I. Joe stuff and enjoy it. |

Yes the Fang is already out. It was part of Wave 2. It's currently out of stock online.

W2 is supposed to ship on 1/7/21, so we will see if the pre-orders will ship then. Most likely not. Of course, you can also get a chap Mei copter and get the same thing for less.
