Tiger Force Flint from China, still carded. This is the one that's actually Falcon in Tiger Force deco.
Is this guy worth anything today? As I recall, used to be he was incredibly common and it seemed like everybody had one. That still the case, or has he increased in value? I see a couple guys on eBay trying to sell them for $99, seemingly without any bites. I don't see any recent completed auctions. Is it worth my bothering to try to sell him? I still have a loose one in my collection cabinet. Last edited by Josh Z; 11-05-2022 at 03:24 PM.. |

Sold listings recently show 3 running from a low of $75 and a high of $113. The low and high were auctions, and the mid was a best offer accepted on $100.

Cool, thanks. The card on mine is in pretty good shape, but the plastic blister is scuffed up due to being stored in a box for a couple decades.

Anyone remember Lanard's Bio-Wing Battle Squadron? I appear to have a complete set, including color variations on all but one figure. Kind of hard to believe I liked these weirdos enough to be a completist for them, but the late '90s and early 2000s were a crazy time.
I'm not looking to sell. I guess I'm just curious if these still have any collector value these days, or if they've been forgotten to history. Google searching doesn't turn up much info on them. Last edited by Josh Z; 11-05-2022 at 03:24 PM.. |

I found an article about one of these figures (with good photos of the packaging) on the Joe-a-Day blog.
https://www.joeaday.com/vlad-vandal-1998/ All of the gliders have a date stamp of 1995 on them, but info I've dug up so far suggests that they were reissued a few times up through at least 2002. I don't remember when I bought mine, whether they were all at once or at separate times. I'm not sure which are from 1995 and which may be from later dates. I'd imagine still being o-ring style construction would appeal to some of the die-hard Lanard fans. Similarly to Breakerfan, I've never been much of a KO guy myself, but I'll have to admit, they are cool in the same way that their Star Force line was.

These Lazer Force guys sure were not built to last. Every single one of them has cracked elbows. On two of them, the arms snapped right off when I was handling them. Bummer.
And that's on top of the fact that I stupidly never removed their batteries. Should have done that years ago. Fortunately, they only had minor corrosive gunk inside the backpacks. Could have been much worse. Last edited by Josh Z; 11-05-2022 at 03:24 PM.. |

Very cool - thanks for sharing! Lanard figs are brittle as hell - the few I have all have cracked elbows, broken thumbs etc. I was never big into the knock off figures either but I am a sucker for 3 3/4" o-ring construction and enjoy the nostalgia of the corps! figs as they played a small role in my childhood joe adventures.
They are supposedly doing something to celebrate The Corps! anniversary which may or may not include re-releases of the vintage style o-ring figures according to forum member tkprime who has a thread where he hawks Lanard product. |
