Hi there, my first post on here in a long time, but I found some old GI Joe RAH prototype figures in a box today, and I am trying to obtain more information about them.
One person told me they are convention prototypes, but I am hoping some of you might have more information on what these are. I am in the middle of removing some old things too, so if anyone might know a value to these too (I didn't see these specific ones on eBay or anywhere else) I would greatly appreciate it. I attached two images of a Gung Ho prototype, though there are a few others like Hawk and Ace I believe. Thank you all in advance |

I can vaguely remember these being given to convention venders way back when.

There were four prototype figures in the Early Bird Certificate Set: Ace, Gung-Ho, "Breaker," and Hawk.
https://www.yojoe.com/archive/mailin/earlybird.shtml To be frank, selling unpainted test shot figures was a pretty lame idea for a promotion, but us G.I. Joe collectors were feeling desperate at the time. Last edited by Josh Z; 11-05-2022 at 03:24 PM.. |
