Has there ever been any kind of source material at all that states that Bludd's right arm was cybernetic/bio-mechanical?
To me, even going to back to when I first received the offer coupon from Hasbro Direct way back when, it always seemed to simply be armoring to shield the rocket blast from his weapon. Granted, I do not follow any modern comics or games, so has there ever been a reference to this, or is it simply a case of customizers putting their own spin on it?

It was never addressed in the comics so far as I know, in fact, I think it was mostly treated as though it was a normal arm. Looking at the modern era versions of his v1 figure, it looks more like just a gauntlet over his lower arm.

Always figured it was an armored gauntlet/sleeve to protect from the backblast of his rocket-pistol, but a normal arm underneath.

Armored gauntlet in my opinion. Only the V1 (and the 25th versions derived from that appearance) had it. In fact, the V3 shows his ungloved hand.

I agree with it being blast armor as he has a missile gun.
I have never heard that he has an amputated arm, and needed a prosthetic one.

I do seem to remember (or misremember) it being mentioned that it was a prosthetic in one continuity or another, but I have no idea which or where I even read that. Maybe an old thread here?

Not really. Just pointing out how ridiculous some of these threads get when certain people are posting.
