When applying stickers to your vehicles do you A) go by the blueprints or B) go by the picture on the box?
I tend to follow where the blueprints say to put them. In doing the Night Raven I noticed there was a difference between the box & BP's-something I hadn't noticed before. I don't think any of my other vehicles are like that where they're shown labeled differently on the box. Anyone else notice that?

I usually go by the blueprints. Occasionally I will leave some decals out that I feel are unnecessary or just look too busy.

I’ve had a rule for years now to leave ones off that aren’t on a smooth surface. Putting them on bumpy or gapped surfaces only invites disaster later when they dry out.

Sometimes the blueprints can be hard to decipher. Ive been using yojoe.com as a visual reference for decal placement. The nice thing with Toyhax decals are that he includes a few extras and sometimes the prototype version of a decal so you can match the box detail.

A little from column A and a litte from column B.
The Demon being the perfect example. The box art has the dragon and Destro logo on the top half, with the logo covering the windshield. The blueprints show all three going on the lower half. I decided to keep the logo on the bottom and the two dragon (demon) decals on the top where they can be seen a bit more.

Generally I land somewhere in between the two, depending on which makes more sense and if the toy itself has any obstacles to placing them as pictured.
The only one I recall specifically ignoring both the box art and instructions was the jet intake stickers for the Tomahawk engines since both pictured them backwards. |

For the most part all of the box art on my vehicles matches the BP's with the Night Raven being the only exception at least that I've noticed. I guess sometimes and in the Night Raven's case they were pictured differently on the box to better show the decals?

I'm the same way I don't like the busy or cluttered look.
