Other than eBay, what are other sources to find Joes? Independent toy stores and board classifieds are the only things I can think of.

I prefer to find stuff Locally or at Cons. Facebook groups and here are tank can also be a great resource. Just be aware that there are some shit bags out there who will try and rip you off.

I use trained pigs to sniff them out in remote forests.
I use advanced sonar imaging to locate them in deep lakes. I hire psychics to help me locate them. One is Krista Bahl. She's a little werid, though. Okay, sometimes stumble across them at garage sales, but this is so rare anymore it's not a viable option for most people. And resale shops, but again, that's not too common, either. I have not tried flea markets in a long time. Anyone on craigslist wants too much money and they'll probably just kill you anyway. |

Hey armymutt. I am on the coast of NC. Near me is an indoor flea market that I pick up a figure or vehicle every once in a while. I also go to a few toy shows every year. Other than that there are many online toy sites to buy Joes:
smalljoes.com dallasvintagetoys.com onestopjoeshop.com (site currently being worked on) roguetoys.com (in vegas) crowemag toys (Raleigh) actionfiguresandcomics.com |

Small group of collectors I’ve met over the years and a Facebook group I got introduced to.
On occasion eBay.

I've had great luck on local Craigslist. Retired couple were cleaning out their sons old toys and would replace O rings and screws on the figures and list them. I got a good deal on a complete Thunder Machine, Dreadnoks and Zartan family. They were glad they were going to someone that appreciates them and not just a reseller throwing lowball offers at them. I did miss out on a USS Flagg they had though 8(.

Outside of eBay, it's all about Hisstank for me. Granted, it can be slow going, but a ton of great members have helped me piece together my ARAH collection again and fast track my ME collection.
Because we're all here for the same thing, it's always very honorable- I've yet to have a single negative experience here. Might be worth your time to set up a "want to buy" thread. May take awhile, but if you're down to play a bit of a long game, you're bound to both come up on some good finds and also connect with some great people. |
