I was recently gifted a 1982 VAMP that's in pretty good physical shape except for the fact that the original owner put way too many stickers on it when he was a kid. The thing was absolutely covered in stickers when I got it. It appears that he put all of the original VAMP stickers as well as a full set of Polar Battle Bear stickers onto it for some reason. Many of the "correct" stickers were also applied either crookedly or in the wrong locations.
Is there anything that can be done about this? |

Dumb question, anyone got a good way to replace the spring on a Ninja Force figure? My Slices are kinda crappy inside and one of the springs got a bit mangled when cracking 'em open to replace the o-ring, so finding an equivalent would be ace.

How were you able to pull off the o-ring swap on a ninja force figure?

...first time I went too hard on it and Slice's torso pinged apart across my room. I'm so glad I found everything and didn't lose a piece. :P

Finished up my 1985 album. Notablely absent is the blue Snake Armor and the Sears exclusives along with LnF Tripwire. As a kid I scowled at repaints and my vintage collection is about nostalgia for me. However the missing items prevent me from labeling the albums as “complete.” For my collecting goals they are simply, finished. Hope you enjoy.

Hi guys -
I've been doing a lot of toy restorations the past couple of years while building up my collection (mostly Joe, but also some MASK) and came across something new that I am not sure of. I have splotchy white discoloration on a dark grey plastic (the Boulder Hill playset from MASK). This did not appear until I washed the part with water and Palmolive dish soap to get rid of the dirt. I picked this one up through eBay but I am not faulting the seller since it was completely invisible until the part was washed. My guess is that this was a liquid of some kind given the splatter marks and how it worked itself in between the tiles on the base, but I have no idea what caused it or the best way to remove it. My best guess is to try one of those automotive plastic trim restorers for dark plastics that have faded. However, I am also applying a custom sticker set to this one and am not sure if there would be issues with the stickers adhering after using that kind of product. Has anyone else put stickers on something cleaned with an automotive plastic trim restorer and had issues? Suggestions? |

Hey all - I just dug out a bunch of ARAH vehicles from my childhood, and I'd like to start doing some repairs on them. I realize I need to do some reading here, but I was hoping you could help with a few initial questions.
1. Do you have a recommendation on superglue? Anything to avoid? 2. Do you guys have any good sources on parts? I am starting with a SkyStriker and I am missing a rear landing gear, the engines and some missiles. I still have a little digging in the basement to do but it's not looking good for finding them. Thanks much! Hope you all are having a great day. |

Just be patient and hit us up for price checks on certain parts as some will never come down in price no matter how patient you are. If you find some parts are to rare and expensive hit up Zap here. He's done some amazing work with 3d printing replacements if you're ok with repros. He has an Ebay store as well. Lastly I'm guessing you're familiar with Toyhax.com for replacement decals? I was very happy with their Sky Striker set. And man let me tell you as long as there is no discoloration or damage those babies clean up real nice! See mine in the links below. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

That way can take quite awhile, but I have also gotten some good deals that route. Last edited by Cryoguns; 01-28-2021 at 06:59 PM.. |
