The unthinkable happened yesterday. I went to Craigslist (which I gave up on forever ago) and just clicked into the Toys for sale section and scrolled a bit. I found a USS Flagg that is 85-90% complete for $35! I went to pick it up last night with my kids and we were so excited. It was a couple that bought it for their son in the 80s and then their grandkids played with it and now they wanted to find it a new home after storing it in their garage. I am amazed by how good it looks after all these years! I want to put some work into it (new stickers, maybe some paint, find some missing parts) but it will be fun exactly as it is too!
I seriously never thought I'd own a USS Flagg in my life. I figured there was no way. Now I am motivated to reorganize my basement to turn it into a better toy room.

I just picked up a second Flagg a week or two back absolutely love this thing. Only need 1 OG Y pin to make mine 100%. Thinking I will sell the other at the next Local Joe show.

It has been about 25 years since I fully assembled my precious. I do not want to go through all my toy boxes in the garage. Eventually, I will have it assembled with what I have left. So that I can take a full inventory of missing pieces to make this baby whole again. For now this will do. 😁
