Hey guys I have a Kenner Unproduced GI JOE Extreme Deluxe Wreckage Figure MOC. It has the Kenner Standard Green Tag on the back and is signed by the GI JOE Extreme Creator Ben Torres. Also have a GI JOE Extreme Harpoon figure with the Green Kenner Standard Tag that has his name as Shark. Looks like they changed it.


I have these for sale in the sale thread but thought I would share the pictues. Pretty cool!

Very cool indeed! You're the second person that I can confirm has that Wreckage sample. Another gentleman who used to frequent the boards years ago, TheWyseOne, also has one.

Also, pretty darn interesting to see that Harpoon's name was going to be Shark. I wonder why they changed it? Too "bad guy" sounding, perhaps?

I was thinking that they may have changed it because of the vehicle with the same name from ARAH. (different spelling though).

Hmmm...solid theory. I'll have to reach out to Wyse and see if he can share any details on these pieces with us. IIRC, he had a pretty extensive conversation with the designer...but that was years ago. I'll see what I can dig up though.
