i'm about to pull the trigger on purchasing someones ARAH collection. I've been trying to re-build a collection I lost in a fire 4 years ago... without seeing pics or full descriptions, does this sound like a deal?
$200 for: "Hydrofoil with pilot (99% complete, only missing one missile) Ferret (complete) X19 with Ghost Rider pilot (with scarf!) 80% complete maybe? Maybe a couple other small vehicles around here somewhere Figures: 37 have file cards, all are in plastic baggies with weapons. Not all are complete, in fact some have no weapons or anything. Zartan with Swamp Skier Monkeywrench Torch Buzzer Ripper Barbecue B.A.T.s Blowtorch Firefly Firefly V4 Crazy Legs Storm Shadow (exc. condition, only missing bow but that may be in the box) Another Ghost Rider (sans scarf) Raptor Hardball Zarana Snow Serpent V4 Night Creeper V4 Major Bludd Wild Weasel Sgt. Slaughter (brown one, no hat) H.E.A.T Viper Serpentor Dusty The Fridge (complete, near mint, file card) Croc Master Tunnel Rat Strato-Viper Jinx Vypra Star Viper Voltar Leatherneck Snow Serpent V1 Undertow Quick Kick Sci-Fi Low-Light Muskrat Crystal Ball Another Torch Charbroil V1 Gung Ho (1984) Shipwreck (complete, exc. condition) Road Pig V1 Dee-Jay V1 Zanzibar Airborne V1 Big Ben V1 Lifeline Gyro Viper Repeater Thrasher Viper V1 Tomax Xamot Gung Ho V6 Lifeline Frag Viper V1 Sea Slug Viper V5 Bazooka (1985) Airtight Stalker V2 Wetsuit V1 Flint V1 Big Boa Incinerator V1 Budo V1 Tele-Viper V1 Ace V5 Mainframe Alley Viper V4 Hawk V1 1991 Dial Tone Fast Draw Storm Shadow V2" Thoughts?

Where am I when deals like this come along? In Ben Stiller's classic line from Starsky & Hutch: "Do it."

What's he gonna charge you for shipping? Not a bad deal overall but I think it has too many common later era figures.....

No shipping... its an in person deal. But it'll be awkward if I commit and then I see the lot and all the thumbs and crotches are snapped off. If the deal turns out to be sour i'll throw it on e-bay and let you all fight for it! I'm big on file cards... so that sucks me into the deal right there.

Let me break it down like this. You're getting 79 figures (Including the two with the vehicles. Even if the deal was $200 for the 79 figures, that works out to $2.53 per figure! Without the vehicles it already sounds like a pretty good deal, add the vehicles in and it makes it a deal that even if you don't like any of the toys you buy, you could still sell them pretty cheap and make a profit.
