I was always really into the HISS II as well as the Warthog, which I always thought were sort of like rival vehicles to one another.

I have to say the Slugger, I loved that vehicle. The MOBAT, Mauler and the Wolverine got a lot more attention as far as armor went, but the Slugger was badass. Not even sure if it ever appeared in the comic or cartoon.
I also have a real love for all the mini playsets and battlefield accessories, I had most up until '86. Not sure how popular these really were because very few other kids I knew who had Joes had any of these. The COBRA Bunker especially saw lots of action in my battles. |

Probably the HAVOC. That thing could hold a ton of figures, had a cool secondary flying vehicle, it was Army green which is always cool and it just looked like a real bruiser. Yeah, having the gunner on top exposed isn't the smartest design, but plenty of Joe vehicles have that flaw.
Someone did a custom HAVOC here on the tank where they armored the canopy, and I think they armored the top seat too. Just the same. Not enough love for the HAVOC.

The APC was underrated. I used to love having my joes hanging off of that thing with there guns ablazing. I always tried to recreate the cover of comic #19(may be off an issue or so) where Destro ambushes the joes in their APC. I saw Samantha mentioned HILLS. I still dream of their toy isles. Best store ever. Little folk know hills is where the toys are!

I agree about the APC, I think Clutch drove that more than the VAMP for me.
I always thought the SNAKE armor did not get enough love, especially when I would use it to force Joes to attack each other when they were placed in it. |
