Putting them together and putting the stickers on to make them look cool.

Oh okay...whew! I was scared to read what the answer was when I clicked on this thread. I was prepared to be grossed out.
Yes. I enjoyed the decals myself. And getting the catalogs in the vehicle boxes. |

I used to love getting the first vehicle in a year and reading the catalog with all the cool new toys for the year

I miss gliders that actually glided, and killer whales and APCs that actually floated.

I still remember putting together Destro's Despoiler. Wasn't too hard but it did come with instructions. These days I'm missing the bottom laser thing and at least one missile

I used to like taking them apart after they were hit by enemy fire or wrecked.

Ahhh......yes the purchase of ARAH vehicles and playsets were always such an exciting moment. Probably moreso than anything else from any other toyline. I was pretty young for the first few waves so my dad would put them together for me. The anticipation of getting the vehicle in hand was tempered only by reading the catalogues while waiting. Once it was assembled, i placed the stickers on myself and it was off to whatever adventure i could conjure up. From a different standpoint, i miss the general variety of vehicles in those days as compared to the last few iterations of joe post 25th. Dont get me wrong i love most of the stuff that was put out, but really , most of the time they were just repaints or re releases of vehicles we had just gotten a wave or two previously.

I enjoyed putting the boats in swimming pools, the tanks and vehicles in dirt and later in the years blowing them up with fireworks.
