Can anyone tell me what this would be worth MOC. The card isn't in great shape, like most of the Funskool figures, but it's decent. No tears or crimps. It is not the rare blue and yellow version, just standard Bludd. Thanks for your help.

Do you have a photo? Are you looking to sell or insure?

I would say 75-100 depending on condition. I'm pretty sure that this is the one on Craigslist in San Diego that I emailed you about ;)

I was just wondering if it was worth that much. Unless I'm mistaken, the first Indian Major Bludd was released in 1992.

The earliest funskool figures were released in 1988-1991 and were close to US quality figures. This was most likely released in 1989-1994 (have not seen the date code stamp on the back).

Yes, it is the same one Drew, you caught me ;)
I just wanted to double-check because a guy that responded to the CL ad that was rudely pointing how far off I was with my pricing by individually listing each figure's worth put a $200 next to the Bludd. That's why I am a little confused. I priced it myself at $100 to $150 but couldn't ever find a completed listing for it on ebay or anywhere else. That somewhat made me think it was more rare than some of the other Funskools. I've tried to upload pics but I guess they're too big. I don't know what the datestamp is on the back but I can look. |

The variant Funskool figures get all of the attention (perhaps rightfully so), but the early release figures that are identical to the US releases are pretty rare in their own right. The all black Snake Eyes, the "regular" Major Bludd, and the dark skinned Stalker are all probably rarer than the more famous variants....they just don't demand the super-high prices because demand is significantly lower for them.

You're not going to get that price on Craig's List. Sometimes not finding an item on eBay can be an advantage. I would try to sell it there.
