I got my Terrordome from ebay, about 3 years ago. It seemed mostly complete from the pics, but you could tell it was missing a few caps and 1 of the top blue silo doors was missing in the pics too. Also, there was only like 1 or 2 pictures and no shots of the inside of any of the bay doors.
Due to the slim pictures and such, I decided to only bid $55.00 bucks and just see what happens. I was one of the first to bid on it, and honestly kinda forgot about it. I went back on ebay like a week or 2 later and saw that I WON it for $50.00 bucks with FREE shipping. I said to my self, not bad price, and atleast its a good project to try to complete. Well, when it got delivered, not only was it in much better shape than the pics showed, but it was nearly complete. Inside one of the bay doors were ALL the hoses, nozzles, gun caps, AND the missing blue silo piece was actually included. It was stuck in between the elevator tube, and I had to pull it out with needle nose pliers and re-snap it into the mechanism that allows all the round blue silo pieces to open and close. Each piece even had the correct cobra sticker on them. I did have to buy a little piece here and there off ebay, and clean it up a bit, but when I was done I had a complete, working, clean, terrordome for under $70 bucks. I have it sitting in my toy room full of modern era, which are the only figures I collect, cobra soldiers. Its beautiful, and like others have said, it serves as a great play piece, but also a great piece for a diorama or display for your figures. Next to my complete Defiant, its my 2nd best playset, next comes my General in at 3rd. |

I made this Terrordrome for a friend of mine. It took a year to make as I was more concerned with making it right instead of fast. It is made of foamboard with posterboard glued over it and painted. I added an elevator that ran to all three levels and added a secondary ring wall on the top level, around the firebat bay.... I never liked the bay door on the floor of the top level: Every time it took off it would incinerate everything on the command level. The four top mounted cannons are actually shaver handles painted black. He loved it and still has it.

I had a Terror Drome when I was a kid, loved it, played with it all the time, wish I still had it, when I got older, I before ebay came around, my family needed money more than toys, so I sold my entire GI Joe collection at the time which was huge to a comic/toy shop, got $300 for everything, in hind sight it was a bad deal for me, but as I said times were tough, now while I would love another, I do not have a place to display something so awesome, I am looking at getting the new Kre-o Terror drome when ever it comes out.

I hope 3D printing will advance to the point that we can make up our own TERRORDROMES or parts needed

1) Well I paid $300 for a complete one and that means complete. Someone on here said they spent $50 on ebay for almost complete, which is a steal! It's what you feel comfortable spending. Shop around.
2) I've seen a few customized. https://www.google.com/search?q=cust...iw=994&bih=638 3) Mine is displayed with ME. I'm hoping to find one for $250 or less when I actually get to start looking.

Thanks! I looked at he google search link. I like the TD in the black/gray color scheme. If I get one I'll be tempted to customize because I don't care for the white and blue. Also, I'd add another couple of guns to the top for some 360° defense.
I'm hoping to find one for $250 or less when I actually get to start looking. I scored got my first one about 95% complete for $160 and then the 2nd for $80 and that one was maybe 80%, save for some chairs (workign on that now) I am ready for clean up and paint scheme

Your double-decker in looks awesome! You can get a sense of how big it is in the pic next to some of the other things shown.
