Hi everyone, I became a member on this site after someone was nice enough (seriously, I really appreciated it!) to let me know I was scammed after an Ebay purchase last summer.
There has been a Terror Drome with box listed for the last week or so by a seller umchamps97 here is a copy of the listing; Cobra Terror Drome w Firebat Gi Joe Toys from The 1980'S | eBay I've asked some questions, requested additional pictures, asked how this person intends to package it if I win. I get replies that have never answered my questions or just suggest that I bid with confidence. I can't say for sure this is a scam, but I'm getting lots of red flags from this person. |

Well, it's hard to tell, but the person does have 100% feedback and the pics look legit. The shipping amount seems right. Kinda frustrating that they won't outright answer the questions though. If you pay with Paypal, though, you should be covered.

Seems to be a new seller on ebay, but does have all positive feedback. Just click on the number next to their name for seller feedback. Judging by the box image and the shipping price, this will most likely be boxed well. But it is up to you.

I honestly didn't look into the auction listing, but from a sellers standpoint (and this is just me) I definitely don't always reply to every email...especially if it is someone asking for detailed information on shipping or packing, etc. Sometimes that will send up a flag to me that it could be a more high maintenance buyer and will neg me for the most unreasonable thing. Also, history has proven to me that even after going back and forth explaining things to people they still walk away without purchasing, so I quit wasting my time. If someone wants to buy my stuff, they can look at the pictures, read the description, and buy it. I'll pack it up nice to make sure it gets there.
I know that isn't always the case - and I don't always blow people off. But honestly I've just learned it isn't always worth my time. |

IDK, those two pictures are not the greatest and the details suck. I only sell a few times a year but spend more time on a posting. Their history goes back to 2003 and is all pretty good. The variety of items sold in his or her history was interesting. Who buys five rolls of duct tape on eBay? What drives someone to even sell five rolls of duct tape on eBay?
Of course this caused me to review my profile which goes back to 1999 for a walk down memory lane. |

Of course this caused me to review my profile which goes back to 1999 for a walk down memory lane. As a seller I"d throw up more detailed pics. The more I'm asking for a vintage toy the more pics I'd put up. I'm not questioning the integrity of the seller but he may not be familiar enough with the item to know what to point out.

If I had your concerns, I would not drop 4 bills on it. There are plenty to be had, especially at that price.
