Here is some scale comparison pics of the G.I. Joe ARAH and the 1:18 BBi Elite Force and 1:18 21st Century Toys for those that do not know. I like both and collect them both. However, space is starting to become an issue. Here you go.:

I really wanted one of those choppers and jets, but seeing how big they are, I think I'll pass now.
Thanks for posting the pics! |

Post some Little Bird and Kiowa comparisons! They are more "joe size" friendly

Joe scale isn't true 1/18 scale. It actually closer to 1/32 scale, which is much more manageable (read: playable). Any larger than the skystriker, they get heavier and thus weaker overall. Joes are toys, whereas the bbi stuff is more model-like. There's a lot more stuff on them that isn't durable and easily breakable... like landing gear and anything that sticks out of the fuselage.

Your avatar combines with your title is hilarious. I keep thinking that the Crimson Guard guy is yelling "Double Pepperoni!" into the radio...

And back on topic.. Yeah a lot of Joe stuff is not 1:18 scale, or 3 3/4th scale.. or.. however you want to quantify it
The scales for Joe things jump around a LOT though, from 1:16th all the way to the Flagg, which was.. 1:136th or something like that. But yeah, its for playability, and you can have whole armies in your room, with true 1:18 scale, its more like small skirmishes

That's amazing; that Hornet is HUGE. But IMO all the stuff on the left are toys... all the stuff on the right is just us trying to pretend their still toys. LOL.
