Amazing thread, even if I am a little late to the party. I'm about to start a few of my own restorations (Dragonfly, APC, Mamba, Phantom X-19) but I have a question regarding some scuffs/scrapes on plastic. On my Phantom there's a rough patch on top that's a bit of an eyesore (I'll add pics as soon as I can). Any tips/suggestions on smoothing it out in terms of sanding? I don't want to make it worse or leave an area that ends up coloured differently from the rest of the vehicle. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the tips xero, I've done a few vehicles that didn't have decals or the old decals were half wore off and goopy and man do they pop now and I can't wait to do more.
I used the cobra stickers sets and they're very crisp and easy to apply but the reason I really like them is they give me the option to apply either the Canadian or US decals just like when I was a kid. |

I noticed the tow cable on your Mauler tank looks like it is a custom-made piece. Looks great!

Finished the Bridgelayer.
Love new, crisp decals.

Thanks guys. I just finished the Whirlwind and Slugger. The original decals weren't bad, but the new decals really pop. I'll try to get pics later.
Next on my plate are the Pac Rats... Tiny ass decals too. I'm getting old.

Hey brother,
Wondering if you or anyone could help me with a little advice. I know Zaranna's torso is infamously glued shut. Are the any solvents or magic cure for opeing her to replace the o-ring. Love to learn and tricks there or do I have to split it like modern torso?
